Jesus Christ, "my name is Laila. I used to be a stray cat. I was hit by a car and left to die until HE found me and gave me a forever home. Come read my unfolding story." or eat some broken glass and shit in your bed. Frankly, the glass is a more tempting offer. I am not in a good mood. I had a shower, which I hate, and felt itchy. I hadn't eaten yet so the itching made me angry. This morning I woke up at 5:00 but opted to stay in bed till 8:00. Then, just like the day before, I got up and ate breakfast but then realized I didn't have anything I wanted to do more than go back to bed. So, I went back to sleep, on my back, eyes closed, staring forward at the ceiling. I had two meaningful dreams. In one I was aboard a ship which was once a monument. It was stone carved by a computer which fused with the ship. There was a team of engineers and architects who had a big blueprint the size of a picnic blanket that they were gathered around, like a picnic. While they looked at it the computer, with its laser guided working arms, cut away an exact replica of a christian temple that looked more ancient and foreign than any christian thing I've ever seen. There was a statue of a lion with complex patterns cut into the stone floor all around it. The computer, I was told, had programming beyond its function of carving this monument. It was also programmed to sing, read, and listen. Apparently these skills aided it in performing its duties by better understanding human beings. While the computer worked, with big grinders, sanders, and cutters on the ends of all its monstrous arms, I climbed up onto the lion, cuddled my head into the nape of its neck, and started to sing a simple melody. The computer, hearing me sing, was distracted from its work and started to sing with me. As we sung together it somehow became one with the monument and ship and we werelifted up into the sea that was now surrounding us. The monument lost the shape of a lion and became a Kraken. The Krakens skin was white like a fish and its eyes were yellow slits with red rectangles. Just below its eyes was the ships deck with a railing that I could stand on along with all the other passengers. This Kraken, part computer, part temple, part ship, controlled every molecule in its body and, just like it controlled its tentacles as they passed through the water, it controlled every molecule of water that its tentacles moved through. Making it one with everything around it, everything except its passengers. The Kraken, perhaps recognizing this, flooded the deck with water so that huge waves crashed from the sea onto where we were all standing. And as we were swept away, out of reach of the safety of the Kraken's bow, bobbing up and down in an environment not our own, the Karken, with ultimate compassion and mercy, grabbed us with his tentacles and kept us close to him. And as he did this I thought aloud, aloud because he could hear everything I thought, "I worship you alone, please save me." And after doing this a couple times( flooding the deck and "saving us") the Kraken opened up a hole in the ocean that went down to the middle of the earth and dragged us all down there. And as I got sucked through this hole, which felt a lot like a water slide, I'll admit, I had the opportunity to stop sliding and instead stop wherever I was. But I didn't stop because I had nothing else better to do but fall. THE END
